How we run it · For whoever signs off on security

The rules, and where they stop.

Each rule below is built into Trellis. Where it's our team's method, or applies only to what the screens show, we say so.

01Who can do what

Two parties can approve and launch.

Your executive, and our team.

Approvals leave a record

Every approval records who gave it and in what role, with the time. Launch also records what it covered.

Launch covers what's left

Launch asks for its yes twice. That yes also approves any email nobody has decided on yet.

02Who sees what

What each seat sees.

Your executive

Every account in your workspace, on screen.

Directors and reps

The accounts they're assigned, on screen. For decisions, the database enforces that too.

The AI in Trellis

Facts already in your workspace. Account summaries use numbers our code works out before the AI sees them.

Outreach copy

Outreach copy is different. Our team drafts it with AI outside Trellis, and a person approves it inside.

03Do not contact

One list beats every approval.

No approval overrides it, your executive's included.

  1. It names a person or a domain.

An entry can match one person or a whole domain. It holds on every channel, the phone included.

    It's checked more than once.

Trellis checks the list when a sequence is built. It checks again before anything goes out, replies and calls included.

  2. Only our team lifts an entry.

To add someone, tell us and we add them. Only our team can lift an entry, and a lifted entry stays on the record.

    Opt-outs stay with you.

An unsubscribe puts the person on your list and pauses them everywhere. An opt-out recorded in Trellis belongs to your workspace alone.

04Calls and recording

Nothing records until the rep presses Record.

Each rep calls from Trellis, on a number assigned to them.

  1. Only the caller can press it.

Only the person on that number can start or stop recording, checked on every press. There's no override for managers or for us.

    Nothing is kept before then.

Until the rep presses Record, nothing is stored or transcribed. Trellis plays no announcement. What to tell the other person is up to the caller, as our terms say.

  2. Cues stay on the rep's screen.

During a recorded call, the AI can give the rep short cues. No other screen in Trellis shows them.

    Playback follows the call.

After the call, the recording sits on the person's timeline. In Trellis, playback follows who can see the call.

05Your data

Your records stay in your workspace.

Separation

Each client's records are separated by rules in the database itself, below the screens.

Access

Access is by invitation only. Invitations come from your executive or from us, and there's no sign-up page.

Network files

A teammate's LinkedIn file is read on their own device. Only one-way fingerprints are sent, and the invite link works once and expires after 14 days.

Missed events

If a notice from the sending service goes missing, an hourly check re-reads the service. It fills in any send, open, click, bounce or reply it missed, and a message delivered twice is counted once.

When you leave

Your records belong to you: when the engagement ends, we hand them over as an export, and on your written request we remove the contact lists you gave us from our working systems.

Certification

We hold no third-party security certification, and our terms promise best effort, not an uptime figure.

06The bill

Two things are billed by use.

AI that runs on a paid model service, and phone calls with their numbers and transcripts. Our team's research and drafting aren't billed by use, and neither are sending or scoring.

Each billed line

Each billed item is kept as a line: when it happened, what it was, who started it, and the amount billed to you. Your workspace's seats can read those lines. There's no billing page in Trellis, so ask us and we'll go through them with you.

The monthly limit

If we've agreed a monthly limit, your executive gets a card as spend nears it and can approve extra room for this month only. At the limit, new AI work and new calls pause. A call already connected finishes. Incoming calls are never refused for spend. If Trellis can't tell whether you're over, it refuses the new work.

The retainer isn't in Trellis, and neither is an invoice.

Bring your hardest question.

Your security or IT lead is welcome on the call.

If a sentence on this site overstates what Trellis does, tell us and we'll change the sentence.
